Verdict

A competitive handicap and from a shortlist of HEAD TO HEAD, Equinity and Sonhador, we will side with Head To Head. The selection is not a reliable betting proposition as he has only managed to get his head in front once in 31 starts on the all-weather. However, he has been running well recently, he went close last time and he was only narrowly denied over 5f here in February and he has a positive high draw. Sonhador has to be respected as he is on a fair mark and he could be considered a little unlucky over this course and distance last month. He was well supported in the market that day, but he was also well drawn and the same can't be said today. Equinity has got some solid turf form but she has yet to be even placed on the all-weather and on that basis she is hard to recommend with confidence. Ishibee has won over the course and distance but again the draw is a negative. See That Girl could be a more viable alternative on her handicap debut and the market may well be a guide to her chance. Head to Head has been running well of late and he gets the narrow vote.
