Verdict

BEA MENACE can land the nightcap at the main expense of Arachnophobia and My Best Bet. The selection was an impressive winner over this course and distance when last seen out. She comfortably beat Dance And Dance that day and she looks a good bet to follow-up. My Best Bet has got a fair strike-rate on the all-weather and she ran well in a competitive handicap at Doncaster last time. She also more specifically goes well here so she has to be on the shortlist. Arachnophobia won here two starts ago but he failed to replicate the form here last time and the handicapper may now be catching up with him. Sunshine Always was not disgraced from a poor draw here last time so she is another who has to be given some hope. However, it is hard to look beyond Bea Menace who gets the pick.
