In depth

Verdict

EARTHLY (NAP) showed enough in a couple of maidens last autumn at Windsor and Newbury to suggest that the US bred colt is more than capable of landing a weak all-weather maiden such as this. The booking of Ryan Moore for the Beckett inmate suggests that connections mean business and the yard will be keen to impress as a relatively new yard for the Juddmonte operation. Critical Thinking has the benefit of assured fitness after a recent second to the in-form Dandy Flame and has similar claims to recent Wolverhampton third, Dream Magic. Abel Tasman wouldn't have to be anything special on his debut to take a hand in such a moderate contest.
