In depth

Verdict

Ian Williams has his team in good form so Classic Blue has to be considered but she will need to run a lot better than at Southwell last month to trouble the judge and a better bet looks to be VIA MIA, who gets the vote ahead of Dream of Fortune. Mick Quinlan's gelding won well at Kempton last month for which a 4lb rise is perfectly fair and he has to be strongly considered dropped into a seller this afternoon. Mouse Hamilton-Fairley's Hatch A Plan has been well held in recent starts and is hard to recommend, while Western Roots has given little sign of encouragement in recent starts and is probably best left out of calculations. David Evans has his team in good heart so Hector Spectre has to be respected but a better bet looks to be Via Mia. George Baker's filly is relatively unexposed after just nine starts is better than she showed at Wolverhampton last month so she looks worth chancing dropped into a seller.
