Verdict

A large field goes to post for this race but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Indian Warrior, Lord Melbourne and Shamwari Fire and the confident vote goes to Indian Warrior . The eight year old defeated Vlaster Wiener in good style last time out and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Lord Melbourne was a good second behind Cleveland Way last time and he will be suited by the step up to seven furlongs. Shamwari Fire was a fair fourth behind Heathyards Pride last time and is another that has place claims but he is not the most consistent sort and remains a maiden after 19 runs. The Gay Fox is on a handy mark a goes well here so is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Indian Warrior.
