Verdict

Brian Ellison has a tremendous record with his Irish raiders and Galway Festival handicap winner Dream Walker is worth a chance at this Listed level. Willie McCreery won the first running of this last year and useful handicapper Champagne Or Water is another attempting to make the transition. In My Pocket attempted to make all in a Cork Listed contest last month but found nothing when headed and could be ridden with more restraint here. This looks too short for potentially useful hurdler Island Remede, a remark that also applies to Toe The Line, who won on heavy going at Gowran in April though over 1m6f. MANEEN looked a nice prospect in the spring and was returning from a long break when tackling Group 3 company at the Curragh last month. He was well beaten but this is more his level and Dermot Weld's decision to fit him with blinkers could reap its reward. The lightly-raced Stenographer should have more to offer and is one to note in the market.
