Verdict

Toulouse Express won this a year ago and shouldn't be dismissed from just a pound higher but the other C&D winner, Thai Vango, has struggled from a new mark since scoring here in September. YOU KNOW YOURSELF has had very little experience and was making his chasing debut when landing a Wetherby handicap in November. He's been raised 8lb but has unlimited scope and his yard have a fine record with similar types. Quel Bruere was unfancied at Doncaster last time but belied his odds with a fine effort behind La Pantera Rosa. With a visor back on, he looks the one to give the selection the most trouble. Lorum Leader scored over 3m1f here just over a year ago and, though running poorly recently, the fact that he's now a stone lower in the ratings gives some hope.
