Verdict

With her mare's allowance, Bounds And Leaps is interesting in this opener as she looked ready for a step up in trip when runner-up over 2m5f here in November. The Ferbane Man is versatile and should strip fitter for a run over fences at Plumpton earlier in the month, while Victors Serenade hasn't done a lot wrong in handicaps around this distance over the winter and should be thereabouts again. The Red Laird didn't beat much at Warwick last month, however, and lacks the scope of HAVINGOTASCOOBYDO. Martin Keighley's six-year-old, a winner between the flags in Ireland, was returning from a break when fourth at Uttoxeter last month and is entitled to improve now stepped in distance.
