MALT OR MASH gets the vote in this claimer over Phoenix Flight and Guiseppe Verdi. Trainer Richard Hannon continues in good form and Malt Or Mash can take advantage of a drop in grade here. He is clearly not as good as he once was but in this company it will be disappointing if he can't regain the winning thread. Phoenix Flight has been running with a decent level of consistency, but it is worth noting that his best form so far has been on the all-weather. Guiseppe Verdi scored in a seller last time out and he has won five of his 10 career starts so far. He could be the one to profit if the selection fails to fire. Polish Power looks to have a bit to find to reverse form with Guiseppe Verdi on their recent meeting, and we will stick with Malt Or Mash who rates as our idea of the winner.
