Verdict

IN THE CITY just failed to catch the winner over 7f here on his first start of the year. The Haggas colt should be sharper for that and can get off the mark over this extra distance. Nellie Deen looks a likely improver on faster ground today than when fifth at the track on her debut while Enmeshing may fare better dropped in trip for this after fading badly over 1m2f on his introduction. Howilat is related to a couple of winners on the all-weather and has an entry in a Group 3 race so the Godolphin filly makes most appeal of the newcomers.
