Verdict

Bollitree Bob is bound to have his supporters following his win over course and distance last month but an 8lb rise for that success makes this tougher for Jamie Snowden's gelding and preference is for NOTICEABLE, with Mibleu rated the pick of the remainder. The selection followed up his win in a selling hurdle race with success on his chasing debut at Huntingdon last month. Admittedly, Andy Haynes' gelding has a penalty to carry for that success in a novices' chase but he is unexposed over the larger obstacles and is taken to win again. Lukie Victor, successful over both hurdles and fences in Ireland, could be of interest on his debut for Evan Williams and makes more appeal than Colin Tizzard's out of form Bring Me Sunshine. Silver Adonis has struggled against the handicapper following wins at Wincanton and Fontwell and of more interest may be Mibleu. The Alner's gelding would have solid claims on the form shown when chasing home Launde at Wincanton last month but he did not run up to that form at Southwell last month and preference is for the in-form Noticeable.
