PEREZ PRADO may be able to show why he attracted support last time whilst the likes of Tanforan and General Tufto appear to hold solid claims. The selection clearly has plenty to prove and the yard's form could be better but he was well supported ahead of his run at Haydock in a race that has worked out reasonably well. He may yet be able to reproduce his homework on the track and he starts life at a realistic level so earns a hopeful vote. Tanforan recorded back-to-back successes for the first time in his career and could well go close to completing a hat-trick whilst General Tufto is better than he showed at Beverley and ran well here earlier in the season. West End Lad is another who is capable of better than he showed last time with Hardanger a handicap debutant to note with this step up in trip sure to suit whilst Dannios hails from a respected yard. Bold Diktator is entitled to come on for his run at Pontefract where he put up a good display and is another to enter calculations but we've opted for Perez Prado.
