In depth

Verdict

Anneani was a close-up third at Leicester on Tuesday and should be thereabouts again if fully recovered. Dylan's Storm won at Brighton on the same day but has to carry a penalty in this more competitive affair. La Superba and Charlotte's Secret have both shown enough recently to suggest they can get involved while Ziggys Star ran well on his Turf debut at Doncaster 11 days ago and any improvement on that would see him in the shake-up. STONEBOAT BILL was put up a massive 15lb after storming clear at Thirsk last time but that rise was fully deserved. The fifth has franked the form since and Declan Carroll's charge can double his tally.
