Verdict

Kosta Brava and Knockavilla are both former Howard Johnson inmates and the latter's recent fourth at Market Rasen behind Park Lane affords him preference of the pair as he was beaten less than three lengths. Kai Broon looked a useful chasing recruit when scoring at Kelso in April and, although he's been consistent enough since, he's probably not fully lived up to expectations. This is a good opportunity to get back on the winning track but he's asked to concede over a stone to RED KINGDOM. The latter landed a success and a second place in the space of three days at Cartmel's recent two-day meeting and is clearly in good heart. He's a proven stayer at this trip too and just shades the vote.
