In depth

Verdict

Not much strength in depth to this contest and Mughas is the choice to defy a penalty and successfully concede weight all round. Alan King's charge showed useful form on the level in Ireland before making a highly pleasing winning hurdling debut over this trip at Warwick last month. proven in testing conditions and entitled to improve for both the experience and the outing, the son of Sadler's Wells can follow up. Indien Royal will relish the conditions and has already shown enough ability to win his share over timber but lacks the scope of the selection. Jawwala was a useful performer at her best on the Flat but lost her way last season and her form over timber suggests she has something to find on these terms while the remainder are hard to fancy.
