In depth

Verdict

Not much form to go on and, as ever in this type of event, the market will provide further clues but Bramlynn Brook sets a fair standard and is the tentative choice to come out on top. The Venetia Williams-trained gelding showed the benefit of his initial start when second to a useful sort at Bangor in December and can take advantage of his experience. Newcomers Were In Touch and Galwaybay Stan make plenty of appeal on breeding and could easily prove good enough in an ordinary heat while Proud Peer showed some ability on his debut and can only improve.
