Verdict

Some promising types here including Sir Francis Drake, who was sent here for his debut and ran very well behind Trojan Nights despite obvious signs of inexperience. He'll come on for that as will Abdicate for his run behind Little Rocky at Hamilton. Figaro has a long absence to overcome after a couple of fair runs over 7f in October and he'll be better suited by this trip while Diamond Bob showed a little promise behind Antarctic at Haydock. William Haggas has a couple of entries here and while Newby Lodge is respected it's PLIMSOLL LINE, who caught the eye with a staying-on effort behind Mijhaar at Haydock, who gets the vote under Jamie Spencer.
