There was a lot to like about Snoano's first run at Newmarket, where he looked in need of the experience. He'll go close if handling the quicker surface but we fancy VENTRILOQUIST to make it third-time lucky. He had the third six lengths away when second to the odds-on Disegno at Kempton in June and the winner was runner-up in a Listed race subsequently. Windsor third Carnival King and Deluxe both have plenty of scope and should be winning soon but Sharp Sailor may need more time.
