Verdict

The four-year-olds Sweet Martoni and Unison both have decent claims in this. The former might have preferred an easier surface but the latter is improving and has only been raised a couple of pounds since a close-up second at Ascot. Gang Warfare has been knocking on the door but Space Walker ran poorly last time and Cherry Princess is racing from out of the handicap, though has avoided a penalty for last week's win at Epsom. TIDES REACH was only third to Sweet Martoni at Windsor in June and re-opposes on identical terms. But she was given plenty to do that day and has won since so we'll take Roger Charlton's filly to reverse the form and take this.
