In depth

Verdict

Julie Camacho is 1-1 here in the last five years and that success was delivered by today's representative in TOM SAWYER. He should be fresh for this assignment after only two runs this term, went close the last time at Hamilton, enjoys the ground and Megan Carberry is excellent value for her claim. Perfect Muse, a lightly-raced Clive Cox contender, landed a Class 5 Newbury handicap last time, a deserved success after posting no less than five seconds on her first six starts. Expect another solid effort here, whilst young Aaron Jones has been getting a good tune out of hold-up performer Welease Bwian on recent starts. However, the main threat to the selection is Alpha Delta Whisky, steadily coming to the boil after four starts this term, and only narrowly beaten at Warwick last time with Tom Queally an interesting booking.
