Verdict

RUNYON RATTLER gained a spectacular victory in a Kilbeggan bumper in May coming home 31 lengths clear of his rivals. Paul Rothwell's charge is related to several point-to-point winners and may do better over fences later but this will do for starters. Jesmond Lodge looks the more likely of his rivals to take advantage if his jumping doesn't come up to scratch as she has had plenty of experience and performed with credit though this ground could be a problem. Cashelard Lady ran well for a long way on her racecourse debut at Bellewstown last month until a couple of untidy jumps put paid to her chances and she'll be better for the experience while Christy Roche' newcomer Neddyvaughan has a nice pedigree and is one to note for the future.
