Verdict

After beating a huge field over timber at Punchestown, Shamiran reverted to fences at Kilbeggan and was beaten a long way into third. He's only 4lb higher than that latest victory so has to be greatly respected. However, the concession of two stone including Jonathan Moore's claim to HURRY KITTY (NAP) looks beyond him as Liz Doyle's mare, a winning bumper, looked very progressive when scoring on ground with some give at Wexford and can complete a double. Kylecrue completed a double over this trip last month then found three miles stretching his stamina at Cork on Monday and was beaten a long way. Off The Mark hasn't had much racing and did very well in bumpers and on his hurdling debut at Kilbeggan. He's finished last of four in his two latest starts but wasn't beaten far at Roscommon a month ago and should have more to offer.
