    Verdict

A competitive event in which the tentative vote is given to Eau Good ahead of Zadalla. The selection dotted up to finally get off the mark at the fourth attempt two weeks ago at Wolverhampton, and if handling this surface with similar aplomb he should go very well, and may be able to run up a sequence. Course and distance winner Zadalla showed improved form to win a maiden last time out, but that form doesn't appear to be overly strong and so he is passed over. Bungie is of some interest but it took a very strong ride from today's jockey to get his head in front last time out so more will be needed to take this today, whilst Hereford Boy is beginning to look pretty exposed. With the drop back in trip not expected to cause the selection too many problems, we return to Eau Good as our idea of the winner.
