In depth

Verdict

Unless newcomer Dusky Raider, a dual winner over 1m6f on the Flat at Redcar, proves an above-average newcomer this looks a good opportunity for recent Fontwell winner LITTLE CHUNK to double his tally as this sharp track will suit his front-running style. Sand Blast may take on the selection for the lead but hasn’t raced since well beaten at Southwell in August and his stablemate Calling Des Blins has shown little so far over hurdles. Parish Boy also needs to take a further step forward.
