In depth

Verdict

Shantou Tiger had been in good form prior to running a shocker at Musselburgh last month. Potters Approach is unexposed and should be suited by this big step up in distance on his handicap debut as he’s already won over 3m between the flags. Ballyheigue Bay stays well but Bendomingo isn’t getting any closer and Monsieur Arkadin has been disappointing so far under Rules. RENDL BEACH is only a tentative selection as he’s only run once this campaign. But the 10-year-old is thrown in on his best form and will be fresher than most.
