This is a selling race in disguise, so only a small stakes investment in GRAVE DOUBTS is recommended. Nora Chrissie is capable of being involved in the shake-up, so merits respect while Roisin's Prince is hardly over-burdened with top weight in this company and is another to bear in mind. However Grave Doubts, despite being in the veteran stage of his career, stills retains all his old enthusiasm. James Davies gave the gelding a peach of ride to win a similar race 20 days ago and, as this appears to be a weaker bunch of opponents, the 13-year-old has been presented with a great opportunity to strike. Even with a 10lb hike up the ratings Grave Doubts makes the most appeal at this level.
