In depth

Verdict

SEPTEMBER STARS still retains maiden status but her four runs have yielded some useful efforts and her latest Wolverhampton runner-up performance looks sound enough after the winner that day finished a fair third at York in better grade on Saturday. The drop back to a mile looks a good move and the Sea The Stars filly can oblige for the in-form Ralph Beckett. Feed The Goater stuck on well to score at Chepstow last time under an inspirational Marquand drive and is going the right way, whilst Chester Street has definite claims at his best and is another expected to be suited by reverting to the mile trip. Handytalk improved for the step-up from sprinting the last day but Ocean Eleven has yet to shine this term.
