In depth

Verdict

Last time out winners Red Skelton and Sorbiesharry both have to be respected but Our Destiny caught the eye last time and he gets the vote. The selection failed to stay 1m4f behind Greenwich Meantime here earlier this month and seemed better suited by the drop to today's trip last time when not enjoying the clearest of runs behind Midshipman. Granted a clear run today, Tony Carroll's gelding has an obvious chance and he looks the one to be on in a competitive contest. Red Skelton put up an improved display over course and distance last week but has more to do having been raised 5lbs since then and is far from certain to run to the same level of form again. Hollywood Henry and Sienna Sunset are closely matched on running behind Ribbons And Bows at the beginning of the month and there should not be much between the pair again. Sorbiesharry has claims on his best form, including his latest success here last time but he has yet to reproduce that over further than a mile and is probably best watched. My Maite is held by the selection on running here three weeks ago and of more interest may be Simply The Guest, who steps up in distance. Our Destiny holds solid claims though and he gets the vote.
