Verdict

Mana d'Argent should be too strong for his rivals and he gets the vote here over Weet For Me and Romil Star. The selection finished 5th in a Listed race last time out, and he should be far too classy for his rivals here. He ran well on his only other try on the AW at Southwell and he is difficult to oppose with Darryll Holland booked for the ride. Weet For Me will give him the most to do as he put up a cracking effort when second behind Merrymaker over this course and distance last time. He is in great heart and should go well. Romil Star goes well here and he put up a creditable effort when third behind Vanderberghe last time. He will have plenty on to beat our selection but he should be capable of claiming some place money. The booking of Richard Hughes for Spanish Star catches the eye and he is another to consider, but for the winner we return to Mana d'Argent.
