    Verdict

This is a competitive handicap and narrow preference is for ADORABELLA over the likes of Swords and Granary Girl. The selection does have a penalty to contend with after scoring at Newbury last time, but that was a facile success and with Jamie Spencer taking over in the plate she looks to hold a rock solid chance. Swords is another who has a penalty but he was all-out to score last time and he looks vulnerable tonight in this more competitive race. Granary Girl won at Newmarket last time out but it looked a weak race and the slow time backed that view up. Master At Arms is a course and distance winner and it is worth noting that his only two wins have come here. His overall strike-rate leaves a lot to be desired though and we prefer the claims of Adorabella who can win again.
