Will Greenwood's Favourite Five

Italy's tactics, Ireland's half-backs and hat-trick hero Vicky Fleetwood feature in Greenwood's favourite five!

Italy caused chaos at Twickenham on Sunday with England supporters left baffled by their tactics.

England were bamboozled by Italy's refusal to get involved in the ruck, meaning there was no ruck, and therefore no off-side line.

It took England far too long to come to terms with this, but when they did it was business as usual as they secured a 36-15 win over the Azzurri.

No matter which side you are on, it was certainly entertaining and the reaction of England coach Eddie Jones - not shy of a few alternative tactics himself - is worth watching again and again.

England's women also feature after they had their own scare against Italy at the Stoop. However, they went on to win 29-15 with hooker Vicky Fleetwood the hero for the Red Roses as she scored a hat-trick - she could well have had a fourth but it was chalked off after Katy McLean's red-card for her WWE-type tackle!

As always, we take a little look at Lions form and Gatland would have been delighted with Conor Murray and Jonny Sexton, while Stuart Hogg was once again at his attacking best. However, Gatland would also have had one eye on the start of the Super Rugby competition where the star of the opening round was Blues teenage sensation Rieko Ioane.
