Jerome Kaino confirmed as Toulouse signing after deciding to leave New Zealand

Toulouse have confirmed New Zealand back-row Jerome Kaino will be joining them at the end of the Super Rugby season.

Blues star Kaino revealed earlier in the week he would be leaving his homeland and moving to France later in the summer.

Toulouse president Didier Lacroix confirmed Kaino had signed a two-year deal with the club at a press conference on Thusrday.

Kaino has spent most of his career with the Auckland side, barring a three-year stint in Japan, and he has made 81 appearances for the All Blacks.

The 34-year-old, who is a double World Cup winner with New Zealand, had also been linked with a move to Toulouse's Top 14 rivals Toulon.
