Who is the best British fighter ever?
Victory over Floyd Mayweather will make Ricky Hatton the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet - but where does he stand in the all time pantheon of British pugilists? Is Ricky already the best Brit ever? If not, who is? We want to know who YOU rate as the greatest British boxer. Is it conqueror of Jose Luis Castillo and man of the people Hatton? Is it long-reigning, undefeated super-middleweight king Joe Calzaghe? Is it the last man to rule the heavyweights outright, Lennox Lewis, or do you think the punching power and pure drama provided by Nigel Benn, or the posturing and precision offered by Chris Eubank, outweigh the rest? Is Sky Sports very own' Jim Watt your number one? Or his classy compatriot Ken Buchanan? Or do you think we need to go slightly further back in time to find our top man? Does Ted 'Kid' Lewis, Bob Fitzsimmons, Tommy Farr or maybe Walter McGowan get your decision? Or John H Stracey, the man that mastered Jose Napoles in his native Mexico? Let us know who YOU think is the greatest British fighter ever... Use the feedback form below to let us know your view - and vote on the right-hand side.
