Tom Daley and Daniel Goodfellow won bronze medals for Great Britain in the men’s synchronised diving (10m).
The pair secured their medals with the last dive of the final, going through an agonising wait before their 444.45 score was confirmed to trump Germany for third place.
For Daley, it was a second consecutive bronze medal after he won the same prize at London, 2012 while 19-year-old Goodfellow was competing at his first Olympics.
China won gold with 496.98 points and the United States won silver with 457.111.
