Emotionless set for Doncaster St Leger Festival

Emotionless is likely to bid to follow up his emphatic Newmarket debut success with a run at Doncaster's St Leger Festival next month.

The Listed Flying Scotsman Stakes and the At The Races Champagne Stakes are the two options on Town Moor for the Shamardal colt, who created a big impression with a three-and-a-half-length win on his racecourse bow earlier this month.

Trainer Charlie Appleby said: "I was very pleased with him at Newmarket.

"He's come out of the race very well and after the race we said we intended to go to Doncaster with him.

"He'll be in the Flying Scotsman and we've also put him in the Champagne Stakes.

"We'll make a decision nearer the time."
