Chris Eubank Jr says he wants to challenge WBA, IBF and WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin as soon as possible.
Eubank Jr will take on the unbeaten Tom Doran (17-0-KO7) on the undercard of Anthony Joshua's maiden world title defence on June 25.
Eubank Jr (22-1-KO17) returns to Sky Sports Box Office with the British middleweight title having recorded a 10th-round stoppage of previous champion Nick Blackwell, who retired from the sport after waking from an induced coma.
Golovkin was handed the WBC middleweight belt on Wednesday after Mexican Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vacated it.
And speaking ahead of his fight against Doran, Eubank Jr says he has already set his sights on the unbeaten Kazakh, who is on a run of 22 straight knockouts.
"[I'll fight him] right now, tomorrow if possible," Eubank Jr told Sky Sports News HQ.
"This guy is considered the best middleweight in the world and for me he doesn't deserve that position. For me, I feel like I have the tools to beat him so let's get it on.
"I really believe I'll be in the ring fighting for a world title towards the end of this year. I need to get a couple more fights, defend the British belt a few times, then jump in there and win myself a [world] title belt."
Eubank Jr is confident he can cruise past Doran due to his superior ability.
He said: "Any fight is going to be tricky when they know they're fighting for a British title they're going to put everything on the line.
"I'm the British champion right now so he's going to have to come out there and rip that belt from me. As far as ability goes I don't see it being any contest, but hopefully he can come in and we'll put on a show."
