Brian Vera feels Rocky Fielding is out of his depth and will lose his unbeaten record when the pair meet in Liverpool later this month.

Fielding claimed his 20th win in 20 fights back in March, when he beat Olegs Fedotovs, but taking on Vera in Liverpool on June 26 marks a massive step up in class for the 27-year-old.

Vera travels to England for the first time on the back of three successive defeats, but those have come against super-middleweight great Julio Cesar Chavez (twice) and Willie Monroe, who recently challenged the all-conquering Gennady Golovkin.

Fielding declared last week that he would stop Vera, but the American responded on Monday with confident claims he would come away with the WBA International belt.

"This guy Rocky Fielding is making a huge mistake," said Vera.

"He is way out of his league here and so far in his career hasn’t fought anybody – also, as far as I can see, he can’t crack an egg.

"This is the perfect opportunity and opponent to get back in the mix and I’m really excited about fighting in England for the first time and putting on a war for the fans."
