New world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder sets sights on Tyson Fury showdown

New world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has described Tyson Fury as ‘an entertainer’ and would be happy to put his title at stake against him.
On Saturday the 29-year-old became the first American to win a heavyweight world title since 2006, when he beat Canada's Bermane Stiverne on points to claim the WBC crown in Las Vegas.
Wilder has already dispatched another Briton – Audley Harrison – inside 70 seconds and is also keen to arrange a future unification clash with WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko.
"I would love to fight Tyson Fury. I think he's doing a good job of what he's doing in boxing," said Wilder.

"As far as being entertaining, I think he's ahead of his business in the UK in entertainment and I think I'm doing the same in America. And I think that is going to be a big clash down the road.
"There's nothing like the big guys going at it. It's like a freak show, so I can't wait on that one. I can't wait for it."
British and Commonwealth champion Fury, 26, has won all 23 of his professional bouts and is scheduled to fight Germany's Christian Hammer in London on February 28. He is also the mandatory challenger for Klitschko's WBO title.
