George Groves returned to winning ways, while former Premier League striker Leon McKenzie scored a quickfire KO.
Super-middleweight star Groves dominated Andrea Di Luisa from the start on Saturday night before eventually stopping him in the fifth, under the guidance of new trainer Shane McGuigan.
McGuigan gave Groves a "strong seven out of 10" at the Copper Box on his first fight back since losing his third world title attempt four months ago.
And former Norwich City and Crystal Palace striker McKenzie won a crack at the English super-middleweight title by stopping Kelvin Young in the first round on a busy night of boxing.
