Tom Doran tells Ed Robinson he has the tools to beat Chris Eubank Jr

Tom Doran believes he as the "tools" to spring a surprise on Chris Eubank Jr and become the new British middleweight champion.

The unbeaten Welshman takes on Eubank Jr on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs Dominic Breazeale on June 25, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Doran (17-0-KO7) is ready to make a name for himself on the back of his 2015 Prizefighter success and is confident he can take the Lonsdale belt away from Eubank Jr.

"I've had my eyes on the British title from the first day I turned pro - and in fact before that," he told Sky Sports.

"I've got to be in these big fights, I need to test myself and I believe I've got the tools to get the job done.

Chris Eubank Jr will fight Tom Doran for the British middleweight title

"Don't get me wrong, he's a great fighter but he's a man like myself. He's got two arms and I see chinks in the armour. I intend to make the most of them.

"I took a three-year hiatus between 2011 and 2014 so I've been back at it for two years and now I've got the bit between my teeth again and I am really looking forward to June 25."

Doran's Prizefighter middleweight win in Blackpool led to his last three fights taking place on big nights in Liverpool, with super-middleweight star Callum Smith topping the bill.

In his last fight in April, Doran's explosive second-round stoppage of Luke Keeler saw him emerge as a British title challenger and he is convinced he will be ready for Eubank Jr at a sold-out O2 arena.

"It's going to be exciting but well see," he said when asked about the outcome. "I do see chinks there and I intend to make the most of them.

"Obviously winning Prizefighter was massive, and being on massive nights at the Echo Arena in Liverpool has got the fire burning in the belly again."
