Conor Benn says he needs to show his "boxing ability" on the undercard of Gennady Golovkin v Kell Brook, as he prepares for The O2 by sparring in Covent Garden.

The 19-year-old, who announced himself to the boxing world with an emphatic first-round stoppage against Ivailo Boyanov at The O2, will return to the London venue to face Silvije Kebet on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

The fight will be only the fourth of his professional career, having also halted Lukas Radic in the first round in his last bout in June, but Benn is keen to prove he can have a long career in boxing by showcasing his ability against Kebet on Saturday night - and he gave fans a live preview of what is to come in Covent Garden on Tuesday.

"It's unbelievable," Benn told Sky Sports News HQ. "Look at the reception, it's ram-packed. To be able to be on another massive bill is a blessing.

"This is more about the performance than going in there and having a war. If I want to have a long career I've got to be able to go in there and use my boxing ability, which I'm perfectly capable of.

Benn explains how he has matured as a fighter

"But I need to start believing it a bit more. In this fight we'll see a mix up. When I want hell to raise I will, I will unleash it.

"I'm turning from a boy to man in a very short period of time, learning to fight properly. It'll take time but I'm getting there."
