Katie Taylor will face Karina Kopinska on her professional debut at The SSE Arena in Wembley on Saturday November 26, live on Sky Sports.
The 30-year-old from Ireland signed a professional contract with Matchroom Boxing last month after a glittering career in the amateur ranks.
Taylor won five world titles, six European titles and Olympic gold at London 2012 during her 15 years as an amateur.
The former Sky Academy Sports Scholar now faces an early examination as a professional at super-featherweight in the shape of Poland's Kopinska.
The 27-year-old has had 24 pro bouts, although she has lost 14 of them with seven wins and three draws also on her record.
She did, however, take WBC super-featherweight champion Eva Wahlstrom the distance when they met in May 2014.
Taylor will be looking to claim a commanding win as she then heads to the Manchester Arena on December 10 on the undercard of Anthony Joshua's IBF heavyweight title defence against Eric Molina.
