'The Body Snatcher' is confident of getting the better of Chisora, but is fully expectant that the challenger will be at his very best.

Talking to Sky Sports, Whyte said: "I feel strong, fit and have no injuries. The plan is to go in there, stay disciplined, do what I need to do and hopefully stop him late on in the fight. I say this now, if he comes at me, an all-out war will break out in the first 10 seconds of the fight.

"We have a rivalry but I'm a grown man, I don't take stuff more personally than it needs to be.

"I expect the best Chisora to show up. When fighters fight me they are very motivated and they give it their all. He's tough, experienced, been round the world in good fights and pushed everyone he's fought. He has only really been stopped by David Haye.

"It's a tough, hard fight. I've got punch power, I'm working on what I need to work on, some you might need to box to win, some it's about the win and moving on.

"I'm more than just a six-round puncher. I can box and punch up until the end of the 12th round, but of course I like knocking people out."
