Joshua admitted that immediately after Saturday's three-round demolition of Eric Molina, boxing at the national stadium would not make any difference to his approach and achievement.

But after a respectful press conference with Klitschko, the 27-year-old admits he is now fighting on the perfect platform to raise his profile and ensure British boxing remains on a high.

When I take it in and I'm here, it's history

"After my fight on Saturday, I was asked a question about how I feel about fighting at Wembley but said 'it doesn't matter where I fight, I am ready to fight, I would fight in a car park' but when I take it in and I'm here, it's history," he told Sky Sports News HQ.

"I couldn't ask for anything more. The support of the nation has been exceptional and let's hope that continues because we are bringing big-time boxing to Britain."

Carl Froch looks back on that historical night when he beat George Groves in front of 80,000 fans.

"We are talking about 80-90,000 fans - who knows some people are going to get in and stand to take it to 100,000 - I've been fighting in arenas," he said.

"Back in 1999, against Axel Schultz, a German hero, and I was walking in to arena with 18,000 fans, a sell-out. I was booed until the fifth round but I was cheered out when I was holding my European title.

"I have a dream and imagine that I will be holding those belts again."
