Katie Taylor has set her sights on a World title challenge if she can overcome Milena Koleva on Saturday night

Katie Taylor believes Saturday’s fight with former world champion Milena Koleva, live on Sky Sports, will be her toughest since joining the professional ranks.

Taylor was originally due to face the Bulgarian on the undercard of Tony Bellew's win over David Haye earlier this month but Koleva was forced to drop out and was replaced by Italy's Monica Gentili.

The Irishwoman defeated Gentili inside five rounds and will now compete in her first bout over eight rounds at Manchester Arena this weekend on the undercard of Anthony Crolla's clash with Jorge Linares.

"This fight at the weekend is definitely going to be a big step up for me. Another eight rounds against a really good girl, I am very excited about it," she told Sky Sports News HQ.

"It's definitely going to be my toughest test to date. I have to be at my best to beat this girl, so bring it on.

"Life is very, very good and I am enjoying every single moment of it. I am excited to get in there and showcase my skills on Saturday evening.
