Vasyl Lomachenko fighting Terence Crawford is crazy, says manager

Vasyl Lomachenko's manager has dismissed the idea of the Ukrainian fighting Terence Crawford as "crazy".
Lomachenko made a successful defence of his WBO super-featherweight title on Saturday night when Jason Sosa was retired in his corner after nine rounds.
Lomachenko (8-1-KO8) has been a champion at two weights and was instantly linked with Crawford (30-0-KO21), a fellow two-weight titlist, who holds the WBO and WBC super-lightweight straps.
But Lomachenko's manager Egis Klimas does not want to see his man move up two weight classes, using Kell Brook's defeat to middleweight supremo Gennady Golovkin.
"Forget about Crawford," Klimas told BoxingScene.com.
"We had a very good example when the guy from England, Kell Brook, fought Triple-G. He looked fantastic. He came in the ring and he looked fantastic, but he was too small for Triple-G.
"He dominated him. So fighting a champion who's two weight classes [above him], I think that would be suicide. It would be crazy."
Lomachenko has also dismissed the idea of fighting Manny Pacquiao, the WBO welterweight holder, who has agreed to take on Australian Jeff Horn.
Crawford, who burst onto the scene in March 2013 when he beat Ricky Burns to win the WBO lightweight title, and has since moved up to super-lightweight has said he will move up to to 147lbs after fighting Felix Diaz in May.
Burns, who takes on Julius Indongo in a WBA and IBF unification super-lightweight fight live on Sky Sports on Saturday, has already won world honours in three different weights.
Watch Ricky Burns vs Julius Indingo from the SSE Hydro, Glasgow, on Saturday night, live on Sky Sports 2 from 7.30pm.
