Sor Rungvisai vs Gonzalez II: Carlos Cuadras says he laughs at Juan Francisco Estrada

Carlos Cuadras welcomes the challenge of Gonzalez

Carlos Cuadras has called Juan Francisco Estrada a "true chicken" ahead of their all-Mexican world title eliminator this Sunday morning.

Cuadras, 29, will engage with Estrada, nicknamed 'El Gallo' meaning the chicken, in a WBC world title eliminator as part of an unbelievable night of action in the super-flyweight division, to be shown live on Sky Sports.

The victor will face the winner of the rematch between WBC champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and pound-for-pound rated Roman 'Chocolatito' González of Nicaragua - who will clash that same night.

Cuadras, never short of confidence, turned up to the pre-fight press conference with a rubber chicken and 'Principe' claimed that Estrada had been running scared of him for years.

He said: "He's been scared of me for years, Estrada, he is a true chicken.

"He's never wanted to fight but on Saturday I'm going to win and then I want to fight for my title again.

"I can beat 'Chocolatito' and I can beat Rungvisai so I don't care which one it is.

Former unified flyweight world champion Estrada, 27, was of fewer words and has vowed to let his boxing do the talking on fight night.

"Cuadras talks too much, he is always talking but can't back it up, I'm going to turn him into a Princess from a Prince.
