Hughie Fury and Joseph Parker separated by security at weigh-in for WBO title fight

Hughie Fury angrily shoved Joseph Parker as tensions boiled over at the weigh-in for their WBO title fight.

The Mancunian challenger is attempting to join Anthony Joshua as a British world heavyweight champion when he battles WBO belt holder Parker at Manchester Arena on Saturday.

Fury tipped the scales at 16st 10lbs, with Parker coming in heavier at 17st 7lbs, and the home favourite lashed out following a lengthy face-off in front of the cameras.

With cousin Tyson Fury roaring his support, Hughie pushed Parker away, and security swiftly moved in to separate the two fighters and stop a scuffle between the two teams.

The New Zealander is making the second defence of his WBO title after claiming the vacant belt with a points win over Andy Ruiz Jr in December.
