Burnett vs Zhakiyanov: Anthony Fowler insists that every fight is about entertaining

Anthony Fowler says that he looks to "put on a show" every time he enters the ring as he goes on the hunt for a fourth stoppage win from as many fights.
The 26-year-old, who has previously fought in Sheffield, Newcastle and Liverpool, crosses the water this Saturday night to fight in Belfast for the first time in his career, taking on Laszlo Fazekas, live on Sky Sports.
It is an exciting prospect for the level-headed Fowler who admits that he still has a lot to learn and a long way to go in the paid ranks.
Despite that, the Liverpool super-welterweight, who represented Great Britain at the Rio Olympics last summer and won gold at the Commonwealth Games for England in 2014, is confident that wherever he fights, his aim is to entertain and look for an early victory.
"It's a great experience to be fighting in Belfast, I know the Irish are big fight fans," Fowler exclusively told Sky Sports. "I've never boxed there before so I'm looking forward to it.
"I'm happy with how things have progressed so far, but I know I haven't fought anyone yet, I'm still a novice and am keeping my feet firmly on the ground.
"I just want to keep getting better and each fight, improve on my last performance.
"My goal is to entertain and although I want to win, I also want to put on a show for the fans that come and support me.
"It's about entertaining and I go after stoppage wins."
The Liverpudlian is aware that the super-welterweight division, minus Liam Smith and Liam Williams, is wide open and Fowler insists that he will be ready for any level of step-up whenever he gets the call.
"At the minute I'm just fighting six rounders and I haven't even been that distance yet. I would firstly like to do that and my next opponent seems durable so we will see.
"When my team think that I'm ready, I'm happy to move along, being an Olympian and amateur prospect, I know it won't be too long.
"I'd love to get through this one and then get on the Bellew-Haye II bill, I'm always available, I train all year round and am fit, whenever Eddie [Hearn] says fight, I'm ready.
"Give it a year and I think I will definitely be mixing for domestic titles at least - beneath Smith and Williams it is wide open.
"You can't think about world titles just yet and get cocky, I haven't even got going first.
"Like the other Olympians that have turned over, none of us have stepped up in level yet. When we do, that's when you will see what we are made of.
"Now, I'm focused on Belfast and I appreciate all the fans and support that I've received, it means the world to me."
Watch Ryan Burnett's unification clash with Zhanat Zhakiyanov, along with Paul Hyland Jr against Stephen Ormond, James Tennyson versus Darren Traynor, with Josh Kelly and Anthony Fowler also on the Belfast bill from 7.30pm this Saturday on Sky Sports Main Event.
