Dillian Whyte has promised to knock out Lucas Browne when they meet in their WBC 'silver' title fight at The O2 on March 24, live on Sky Sports.
The pair clashed at a heated press conference on Thursday, and Browne later said he was planning to beat Whyte inside 12 rounds.
But Whyte appeared to relish that prospect and added his own prediction for the bout, exclusively telling Sky Sports News: "We want guys to come here and try to knock me out. We don't want guys to come with no ambition.
"A lot of guys come and say they're going to do this and that, and when they get here and I'm in front of them, they find out it's a more difficult job than they thought originally.
"But I'm definitely going to knock Lucas Browne out, 100 per cent."
Despite the fight taking place in London, Browne is confident he will have plenty of support when he takes on the Brixton man.
"I don't like judges' decisions," Browne said. "I don't like putting my life in their hands. I like a knockout or a stoppage.
"I think that's why everyone watches the heavyweight division, because they want to see the big boys punch.
"On the night, I think it's probably going to be a 50/50 split in regards to the support. Just as many people want to see me knock him out as want him to win."
Whyte is taking on an undefeated opponent when he faces Browne but, while he acknowledges he cannot be complacent, the 29-year-old already has his sights on a shot at a world title.
"I'm not going to sit around and wait," Whyte said. "If the world title isn't there I'll find some intermediate fights in the meantime. But a world title is ideal.
"Any one of the champions that wants it can have it. But let's see what happens. I don't like to look ahead because every one of these fights are dangerous.
"Any one of these guys can put me to sleep at any time."
